Narrow centered layout? Default MFC profiles are wide and common. This is a narrow layout.
From top to bottom what’s new about this type of premium MyFreeCams profile design, what’s so different about it…
First of all, the header available space. The main body of the template was moved with 500px down
search in css file this particular line of code: padding-top:500px!important;
Changing the value of 500px may display your profile up or down, depending of what values you use.
padding-top: 300px – will move the body content with 300px away from the top margin of your browser.
padding-top: 900px – will move down all content away from the top margin of your browser. By the way… don’t be so generous with this value if you don’t have something to add in those 900px header space :)
Custom horizontal navigation bar. This fixed to top of the browser navigation bar will help visitors browse trough your profile content more easily (only if you use in-page links). If you decide to use external links, you have to edit About Me section (read install instructions for more details)
Sticky html elements. Displayed on the upper right corner of your profile, uses css3 to animate the hover effect. When mouse hovers those two elements, they slide from right to left showing all content (in this case, some links) . This can be edited from About Me section. Why “sticky” ? Because those elements are fixed to the right margin of your browser, even if you scroll down the page until you “hit the bottom” those “sticky elements” will be visible. Same as horizontal navigation bar.
Custom slide-up panel. Displays the image gallery content with style.
New Image tag. Every time you upload an image to your profile, an “new” image tag will be displayed at the upper-right corner of your thumbnail preview. Interesting isn’t it? :)
Comment area has to “suffer” some upgrades too. Added a custom background image used to replace the “no avatar” default image. Comment headers and body have an slick and interesting balanced design.
Online, Make Post … two functions that will look muck better now. Check them out.
CSS3 codes used for animating hover effects, links, transitions, opacity, shadows, round corners, borders…
Note: Images included but not hosted. Upload images that came with this product and replace the default url ones. Better to have a backup rather then complaining to me that your profile is broken. I don’t host images. (Exception when I’m paid for this service)
